Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FORE Protocol and any associated applications, including "FORE Predict" (collectively, the "Protocol"), you unequivocally agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms by marking the checkbox below, you will not be permitted to connect your wallet, access, or interact with the Protocol or any of its applications in any capacity.

2. Age Requirement

You affirm that you are 18 years of age or older, which is the minimum age required to enter into a binding contract such as these Terms. You must possess the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

3. Geographic Restrictions

You confirm that you are not accessing the Protocol from any country or territory that is banned, geo-blocked, or under restrictions as per the lists provided in the Protocol documentation, including but not limited to countries under United Nations sanctions or the United States blacklist.

4. Restricted Jurisdictions

You acknowledge that the use of the Protocol is expressly prohibited for individuals and entities from:

• Countries with recognized cryptocurrency bans.

• Countries on the United States blacklist.

• Countries under United Nations sanctions.

Jurisdictions identified by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

• These lists will be updated in accordance with the latest publications and international guidelines.

5. User Liability

You are prohibited from using the Protocol if you are subject to the geographic restrictions outlined herein. Any engagement with the Protocol in contravention of these restrictions shall be at your sole risk and liability and may subject you to legal consequences. The Protocol disclaims all liability arising from such unauthorized use.

6. Decentralization and Governance

While the Protocol operates on a decentralized basis, initial governance is maintained by the Protocol Administration and High Guard, comprising the Core Team and Community Leaders. This governance structure is acknowledged and accepted by you in your use of the Protocol.

7. Market Conduct

FORE Predict and FORE Protocol impose a zero-tolerance policy towards markets that engage in activities deemed unethical, harmful, or exploitative. The Administration and High Guard reserve the right to ban such markets based on their judgment. Violators may be subject to permanent exclusion from the Protocol.

8. Limited Liability

FORE Predict and the team behind FORE Protocol limit their liability to the maximum extent permitted by law. They shall not be held accountable for any direct or indirect losses or damages arising from your use of the Protocol.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Hong Kong Arbitration rules, modified as needed or by mutual agreement. The arbitration will take place in the British Virgin Islands, in English, and the award shall be conclusive and enforceable by any court with proper jurisdiction.

10. Privacy Policy

A detailed Privacy Policy can be found here, outlining the practices concerning the collection, use, and protection of user data in accordance with global data protection standards.

11. KYC/AML Statement

The Protocol does not facilitate the purchase of tokens and operates on a decentralized basis. Tokens must be acquired through external sources, and users are responsible for complying with any KYC/AML requirements of those external platforms.

12. Amendments to Terms

The Protocol reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be required to review and accept the new Terms before continuing to use the Protocol. Your continued use after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Communication and Updates

The Protocol may provide updates, changes, or information about new offerings and features through its official communication channels. It is your responsibility to ensure you are up-to-date with such communications, as they may contain important information regarding your use of the Protocol and changes to these Terms.

15. User Acknowledgement and Responsibility

You acknowledge that your decision to engage with the FORE Protocol and its various roles, including but not limited to creator, player, or analyst, is made independently and at your own discretion. Your actions within the Protocol and any outcomes thereof are your sole responsibility. By using the Protocol, you agree that you are liable for your conduct and the consequences of any transactions or interactions you engage in. The Protocol is not responsible for monitoring user behavior nor does it assume liability for user-generated content or actions.

16. No Financial Advice

The FORE Protocol provides a platform for user-created prediction markets and related activities, but it does not offer financial advice, endorsement, analysis, or recommendations. You acknowledge that all activities undertaken on the Protocol involve risk and are based on your independent decision without any solicitation, recommendation, or financial advice from the Protocol. The Protocol and its team are not financial advisors. Any information provided through the Protocol is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial advice. You are advised to consult with a qualified professional for financial advice appropriate to your circumstances.
