High Guard

The Protocol's High Guard provides a "last-resort" manual verification function for any market result. The High Guard are a discrete set of wallets or contracts which are selected by the protocol administrator.

High Guard can be a private address or a smart contract with its own logic.

In the early stages of project development, the High Guard is a dedicated internal team at FORE who are responsible for ensuring markets are settled in an accurate and timely manner. Over time, the High Guard will be further decentralized and will be selected through transparent community voting (with the support of necessary metrics and analytics).
